The Idea
Here at The Pig Escapade, we are committed to spreading the joy of reading with children. We wanted to bring the story book character of Ed to life. Ed the worlds fastest shed was born and built by Mrs Pigee
Not only is Ed chasing speed, but he's also sharing his story with children. The Pig Escapade, children's book, tells the tale of Ed the worlds fastest shed who dared to defy the rules, encouraging young readers to be brave, dream big, and never let the wolves of the world hold them back.

"Smell my exhaust, Wolfee!" Ed the angry shed races from fairy tale to the fast lane.
The Build
Ed was not content to remain in a book or sit quietly at the end of the garden. He is an angry shed. One that refuses to stay put. "Most sheds hold lawnmowers" This one holds dreams and runs on pure rebellion.
Ed is built on a TVR chassis and has a 4.5L v8 engine.
A photo of my grandchildren and dog helping with the build. Their fun and love of building Ed inspired me to write the story of The Pig Escapade.
Born out of a love for books and a desire to share that passion with others.
The first job with the build was for the team at Race Spec Cages to fit the roll cage and the metal base frame.

Ed's Alive. The team at Lloyd Specialist Developments fitted fuel injection, programmed engine management and a Wild Cat Head conversion adding 100 bhp. He's not sitting quietly.
